Application and onboarding at HSE24 during times of Covid-19

 

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, many people are wondering whether this is a good time to change jobs. How does the application process work? What should I expect in terms of onboarding?

At HSE24, we are continuously looking for new staff members who want to shape the future of home shopping with us. The job openings listed on our career page are constantly updated. Find out what jobs are currently available at HSE24 as well as the many benefits we offer and our corporate culture. You can also apply through our website.

What happens after that? Job interviews are currently held by phone or – most of the time – by video call to ensure the best protection for you as well as our colleagues on campus.

The current onboarding process at HSE24 also takes place mostly digitally. Due to the company-wide safety measures that we have implemented, most of our staff continue to work from home. It really depends on the actual job and the associated tasks. There is a difference between starting an office job and being a member of the TV studio crew. The live crew must work on site while of course taking all the necessary safety and hygiene precautions. They are always in high spirits too – find out for yourself! If you are hired for an office job, you will be visiting the campus in Ismaning on your first day of work in order to receive your equipment, such as a laptop and headset, and for a brief welcome meeting. You will subsequently meet and get to know your team and many of your new colleagues also digitally via Skype or Microsoft Teams and team calls or through virtual lunch dates. Where we work

Ismaning is located on the outskirts of Munich between the Bavarian capital and the airport. The HSE24 campus is 13 kilometers from the city center of Munich and is easy to reach by all means of transportation. The suburban train (S8) takes you from Ismaning to Munich’s Marienplatz in 23 minutes, or the airport terminal in just 15 minutes. There are also bus connections to the Studentenstadt (U6) subway station. Our campus offers everything you need: a cafeteria, roof terraces, various lawns, and green areas for a stroll during lunch, as well as plenty of free parking.
